^Lot 856 John Wayne Cavalry Uniform

This kepi cap and tunic was worn in the classic film "Fort Apache", "She wore a Yellow Ribbon" and "Rio Grande". The attached tag from the "The Western Costume Co" reads: "Personal property of John Wayne, Oct 6, 2011 - Heritage Auctions, Lot #44222 - Auction #7045". Is in fair to good condition with production use and aging. Tunic has original epaulets, buttons and worn in "Fort Apache" and "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon". The "Western Costume Company" garment tag reads: "#2680 #1, name: "John Wayne", Chest: "46". Is in very good condition w/production use and normal aging. Acquired from the Joseph Musso collection, who was a lifetime achievement award winner from academy of motion picture. From the Joseph Musso Collection
